Introduction to 3D Technologies teaches the basic fundamentals for 3D Printing, 3D Scanning, and 3D Modeling. The students will be able to create their own 3D Model, using 3D Scanning and Modeling software. They will then create that object using 3D Printing and take it home as a keepsake.

Pre-requisite: None
The Enable Prosthetic Project introduces the students to the process of building a prosthetic hand. The students then work with the instructors to assemble the hands, using the pre-printed 3D-Printed parts and assembly kits.

Pre-requisite: 3DT101
Introduction to Immersive Technologies teaches the fundamentals of 3D Printing, 3D Scanning, and 3D Modeling. This course provides a more in-depth introduction to these topics than the “Introduction to 3D Technologies” course. The students will be able to create their own 3D Model, using 3D Scanning and Modeling software. They will then create that object using 3D printing and take it home as a keepsake.

Pre-requisite: None
This project focuses on how to apply a real-life application using the 3D printer by 3D printing a prosthetic hand. The students learn how to scale the 3D models using modeling software, print and smoothen the different limb components using 3D printers. Each student will take on the challenge of completing a prosthetic hand.
